I ABANDONED THE SYSTEM!

What do I mean by this?
Well, for too long I have been using IT systems that SELL MY DATA (for THEIR profit)!
I figured it was time to take control of my own data & privacy, and use the internet on MY terms.
Hence I built this website.

I lot of people will tell you that setting up your own website is hard, insecure and maybe costly. The truth of the matter is, it is not. I am not an I.T. professional working out of Silicon Valley, I am just a regular civilian (despite my interest in I.T). With a little bit of research, I found the resources needed to put this together myself. I purchased a linux server, arranged the domain name service records, established the server software and published my content. Sure, I have to maintain it now, but I have FULL CONTROL!

I encourage each and every one of you to do the same.
There are also many advantages to learning how to do this, it has opened my eyes to what I can utilise my computer and server for (i.e. see my post about the media server).
