It has been one month since the Mooloolaba triathlon. Since then I haven't done a great deal of swimming or running. During that time, we have had the Easter weekend but I stayed in town because I was oncall for work. This weekend I attended the SHPA Foundation Seminar for Palliative Care. This was a very interesting seminar, from which I have learnt alot. And I have also become a Pharmacist Immuniser - look out Mum and Dad! I did get to go to Hervey Bay for some birthday celebrations which was a lot of fun! Other than that, Grace and I have been going out for brunch on the weekends, and the cycling never stops with Cycle4Life Rockhampton.
Looking back on the month in terms of sport: 1 x game of touch football - which we lost. A close game, so I cannot complain. From Strava: 328km of bike riding; 800m of swimming; and 14.53km of running; Overall, this is not enough exercise for my goal of a sprint triathlon in August (750m swim, 20km ride, 5km run). I really need to start getting into a proper training routine to improve my results from Mooloolaba.
Anyway, that's all for this month. Catch you next month. -Sam
